Resound Networks proposes to deploy a licensed fixed wireless broadband network in Craig County to provide scalable, high-speed internet service to 174 total locations, including 77 underserved residences, 25 unserved residences, and 72 Community Anchor Institutions. These NET(s) are geographically dispersed across rural Craig County and represent a critical opportunity to uplift broadband availability to modern standards in regions with persistent infrastructure limitations.\\n\\nService will be provided via a combination of leased vertical assets strategically selected for maximum line-of-sight coverage. As part of our infrastructure readiness strategy, Resound has secured master agreements with national tower providers, enabling us to construct or modify towers where signal propagation, terrain, or permitting issues require supplemental assets. This proactive and flexible tower deployment methodology ensures that the Craig County NET(s) will be built to the highest coverage and reliability standards.\\n\\nThe network will utilize Resound’s licensed fixed wireless platform, which has already been deployed at scale in Resound’s ongoing RDOF network and is fully compliant with NTIA requirements for “reliable broadband.” This technology enables gigabit-capable service offerings with low-latency performance and network resilience in rural terrain, and is optimized for both capacity growth and long-term maintenance efficiency.\\n\\nDeployment in Craig County will begin within 90 days of grant award, with engineering and permitting efforts initiated immediately upon notice to proceed. The project will follow an 18-month construction schedule, with activations occurring in rolling segments. Community Anchor Institutions—including schools, tribal centers, and emergency facilities—will be prioritized early in the construction timeline to ensure immediate benefit for critical local services.\\n\\nResound’s deployment will permanently address the service inequities facing Craig County’s rural communities and ensure the region’s broadband infrastructure meets the modern performance standards outlined in Oklahoma’s BEAD implementation framework.
