Resound Networks proposes to deploy a licensed fixed wireless broadband network in Mayes County to provide high-speed broadband service to 1,067 total locations, including 647 underserved residences, 318 unserved residences, and 102 Community Anchor Institutions. The NET(s) span both suburban fringe areas near Pryor and deeply rural sections in the eastern portion of the county, including regions that have not benefited from prior infrastructure investment despite proximity to utility corridors.\\n\\nResound will anchor the project with five leased towers that have been prequalified for coverage viability using RF modeling, terrain overlays, and proximity to middle-mile infrastructure. These towers will serve as the primary backbone for coverage across the NET(s), but if signal gaps or unanticipated construction delays arise, Resound’s tower infrastructure partnerships will enable the rapid deployment of new vertical assets without schedule disruption.\\n\\nThe network will utilize Resound’s licensed fixed wireless system, the same platform that has proven effective in rural broadband deployments funded through RDOF. The system supports both asymmetrical and symmetrical broadband plans at speeds exceeding BEAD thresholds. Each tower will be equipped with centralized traffic management, monitoring, and service delivery tools to maintain high performance and uptime, even in variable terrain or weather conditions.\\n\\nDeployment in Mayes County will begin within 90 days of award. Engineering, permitting, and procurement will commence in parallel with early mobilization activities. Construction will proceed in tower-by-tower phases, with activation of service areas occurring on a rolling basis. Community Anchor Institutions will be scheduled early in the deployment plan, prioritizing education centers, tribal services, and rural healthcare facilities.\\n\\nThis project will establish a resilient broadband foundation for Mayes County’s residents and institutions by closing access gaps with high-capacity wireless infrastructure engineered for rural performance, operational stability, and future growth.
