race Fiber Networks LLC proposes a comprehensive fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) broadband infrastructure project serving rural and underserved areas in south-central Oklahoma, specifically within Garvin, Marshall, and Love counties. The project will deploy 177.4 miles of new buried fiber infrastructure to deliver future-proof, high-speed internet access with symmetrical speeds of at least 1 Gbps and latency below 100 milliseconds.\\n\\nThis network will directly address the digital divide in areas with limited or no broadband connectivity, enabling access to essential services such as telehealth, online education, remote work, and economic development. The project area includes regions east of Pauls Valley, northeast of Wynnewood, between McMillan and Cumberland, and areas around Lake Texoma and Thackerville, including the Winstar World Casino.\\n\\nThe network architecture features an end-to-end buried fiber design supported by centralized aggregation cabinets and scalable XGS-PON technology. The deployment will pass 1,174 eligible locations, including 45 community anchor institutions, and will offer a low-cost service option at $55/month for 100 Mbps / 20 Mbps service to all subscribers, without means testing.\\n\\nThe proposed buildout is expected to span approximately 18 months from groundbreaking to customer-ready activation.
