race Fiber Networks LLC proposes to deploy a future-ready fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) broadband network under the Oklahoma BEAD “Benefit of the Bargain” program as part of Chickasaw Country Project 7. The project will deliver high-speed, symmetrical broadband service to more than 1,000 unserved and underserved locations across rural Oklahoma using 100% buried fiber construction. This infrastructure will support gigabit-capable service (minimum 1 Gbps symmetrical), meeting or exceeding all BEAD speed, reliability, and latency standards.\\n\\nThe service area includes a mix of residential homes, small businesses, and community anchor institutions (CAIs) currently lacking adequate broadband connectivity. This targeted expansion is designed to close service gaps in difficult-to-reach rural areas by leveraging Trace Fiber Networks’ existing middle-mile backbone and regional Points of Presence.\\n\\nThe proposed network will be constructed over a 12- to 18-month deployment period and will include full environmental compliance, redundant routing, and climate-resilient design. Trace Fiber Networks will offer a low-cost service tier of $59.95/month for 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload, available universally without eligibility screening. The project also incorporates local workforce hiring, apprenticeship opportunities, and long-term operational sustainability through ongoing reinvestment and subscriber growth.
